Accessibility statement
Last reviewed October 24, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use openaisle.io, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Every page is built with standard HTML headings, landmarks, lists and form labels.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focus is always clearly visible.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast requirements; body text is black on white or black on yellow.
- Pages reflow without sideways scrolling at 320 pixels wide and when zoomed to 400%.
- Scan results are announced to screen readers when they're ready, and focus moves to them.
- Animation is kept to a progress bar during a scan, and it stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface the Braille Institute designed to be easy to read with low vision.
How we tested
On October 24, 2026 we checked every page with axe-core 4.14 (no issues found), went through each page using only a keyboard, and checked layouts at 320 pixels wide and at 400% zoom. We haven't yet tested every page with every screen reader, so if something doesn't work for you, please tell us.
Parts we don't control
Payments are taken on Stripe's checkout page, which Stripe builds and maintains. Links to other websites, such as our sources, go to pages we don't control.
